Not a great picture or anything, but this really shows off my new Sigma 15mm fisheye, which I bought to get wide-angle capability with my smaller-than-full-frame digital camera, but which provides a neat effect for really close-up views like this one. Posted by Hello

For a change of pace, here's a picture in the spirit of the season. Posted by Hello

And one of Fritz and his buddy, Clancy (my parents' dog, who is a soft-coated wheaten terrier). Posted by Hello

Here's another great shot of Fritz - taken by my dad this afternoon. (You can check out his website here, and it is linked on the right.) Posted by Hello

Chicagoland Photobloggers

Just stumbled across this site - and I've added a link on the right side of my page. This looks like a new group forming, and I think it's a good thing. Photographers benefit at least as much as any other group from collaboration and information sharing, so I'm glad to see a place where people can learn from one another and share ideas about photographing our wonderful city.

Here's another pre-digital picture from France. This is one of the outbuildings associated with the cathedral in Meaux, which is east of Paris. Posted by Hello

Here's an older picture, from my pre-digital days. Gallery at the Louvre, taken on a free admission day in January. Posted by Hello

Just because I'm feeling generous, and because he's such a cute puppy, here's another shot of Fritz. Posted by Hello

Sorry

Sorry for the delay in posting new material. I had a final exam to finish this week, and my old computer ate itself yesterday. I'm back up with a new computer, though, so the pictures should continue.

Great colors today before sunset - I couldn't get out of the house, but I took this picture out my office window. Posted by Hello
